We are a lifestyle brand. Our mission is to enhance your lifestyle through providing bespoke furniture services & experiences. We currently offer handcrafted furniture & projects, a bespoke rental furniture collection, and a curated co-working space.
Our offerings are intended to complement each other, whilst also running as separate services.
Bringing bespoke design to the furniture rental world, RENTALS offers a furniture hire collection suitable for weddings, events and activations.
Currently servicing the Greater Sydney region - the collection is comprised of handcrafted furniture pieces, designer steel items and custom display props.
Where it all began; custom furniture.
Handcrafted in our Sydney based workshop using primarily Australian recycled & new hardwood timbers; mixed with elements of steel, upholstery and signage. Whether it be a range of furniture for your commercial space, bars or carts for your event activation or a full scale event activation; custom furniture is what we know & do.
Each piece and every client comes with a different brief - and that is why we love it.
Timbermill works primarily across commercial projects although we do take on a limited amount of residential furniture projects such as dining tables and bathroom vanities throughout the year.
LEVEL ONE is a curated co-working space hosting a community of creative individuals.
The 600 SQM space is made up of dedicated desks, private offices and studios; as well as communal spaces including kitchen and meeting rooms.
LEVEL ONE is located in Marrickville, NSW on the first floor above the Timbermill warehouse.
Founded in 2013 by Tom Coles & Sally Taylor.
Timbermill was launched when Tom, after finishing a degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Technology in Sydney went into a project management role within the construction industry. However, when word started spreading about his hobby creating furniture on the side it didn’t take long for him to jump ship to the entrepreneurial world.
Sally has a background in Design, graduating from the University of Technology in Sydney in 2010 with a Bachelor of Interior and Spatial Design. Sally joined forces with Tom to create Timbermill in early 2013.
Realising, when they combined their skills a lot more can happen. Sally and Tom have grown Timbermill from a backyard hobby into the business it is today.
With a love of creating, designing and developing; together with their team, Sally and To look forward to continuing to develop the Timbermill brand over the coming years.
